WORLD-RENOWNED DOG BEHAVIOUR EXPERT TO VISIT AUSTRALIA

WORLD-RENOWNED DOG BEHAVIOUR EXPERT TO VISIT AUSTRALIA

Free training workshops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and the Gold Coast

The world’s leading celebrity dog trainer, Brian Kilcommons, will conduct a series of free workshops during a national tour of PETstock stores in February 2012.  Brian’s individual and bespoke approach to pet behavioural problems has seen him become the trainer of choice for celebrity clients such as Harrison Ford, Ashley Judd, Diane Sawyer, Ralph Lauren and Diana Ross.  He is also the only American to be taken under the wing of legendary late British dog trainer, Barbara Woodhouse; considered by many experts to be the greatest dog trainer the world has ever seen.

The protégé has since gone on to be one of the world’s most in demand dog trainers, having been profiled on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times and many more.

Over the past 35 years, author and master trainer Brian Kilcommons has trained over 35,000 dogs, becoming the authority on an extensive range of animal behavioural issues.

“We’re hugely excited about Brian Kilcommons coming to Australia as our guest,” said Dion Collard from PETstock. “He will be appearing in PETstock stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide & the Gold Coast, and we are inviting everyone down to meet Brian, bring their pets and learn a thing or two from the master!”

Whilst in Australia, every man and his dog, cat, bird or mouse are invited to attend the special in store appearances at PETstock stores * where he will conduct training demonstrations and offer top tips on behavioural training.

Brian says “I’m really looking forward to coming to Australia and imparting some of my knowledge to dog-owners across the country. Training your dog doesn’t have to be hard, you just have to have the discipline, yours not the dogs. Expectations need to match your input.  All too often people expect behaviours and manners they have never taught the dog. Make the training fun, be fair and firm.  If your dog is not responding, look at what you are doing or not doing, don’t blame the dog.  Remember, don’t ask your dog to do something, be clear and tell them. And if you tell the dog to do something, make it happen, consistency is key.”

PETstock is also giving dog owners the chance to win a once in a lifetime opportunity for a one-on-one private session with the master.** Details will be announced on facebook.com/PETstock.
